The Problem

Many people will use a physical planner, the calendar app, the reminders app, or an alarm app when they want to remember previous medical appointments, future appointments, prescriptions they are currently taking, time and day of those specific prescriptions, prescription refills, and/or treatment or care summaries. This may be for themselves or for other family members. This practice may become unorganized for the user who likely also uses those apps for other appointments and notes. Current medical apps require the user to connect with their provider and have many other features that some users may not use or with which they feel overwhelmed.

The Solution

Develop an application that allows its users to keep track of appointments, medications, and their medical histories. Users will also have the ability to manage their family members’ appointments, medications, and medical histories as well. Users have the option to be notified a few months in advance if they are due for an appointment and/or a prescription refill. After each appointment, users can add notes into their personal medical journal, perhaps to keep track of any vitals that were measured during their visit or of what was discussed during the appointment. If they prefer, they can also take relevant pictures that can be stored in their personal medical journal along with a specific appointment. This one-stop shop application will allow users to track, see long term trends, and take control of their own healthcare.

The Customers

Our customers will be health-conscious individuals or family members that want an all-in-one application to track and organize medical appointments, prescriptions, prescription refills, and make personal notes or summaries about medical care and treatment for themselves or other family members. Our users may include, but are not limited to, parents caring for children, caregivers of family members, patients with chronic diseases, body builders, and individuals that are conscious of their medical care.
